Heads and Tails Pet Service is owned and operated by Donna and Jennifer DiLorenzo.

 

In addition to loving animals for their entire lives, they have worked with animals for several years in a 24 hour emergency hospital. Here they received hands on training in every possible aspect of animal medicine.

 

Jen has a BA in Animal Science from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After working at the animal hospital for several years, she left to pursue a career in Human Resources at a Boston financial institution. After working with people for several years, Jen realized that she was much more fond of animals (no offense to you, the reader:) She truly missed working with animals on a daily basis and the absolute joy they can bring. You can take the girl out of the animal hospital.....

 

Donna is a Certified Animal Care Specialist. She is also a recent graduate of the Pet Massage Institute where she received her CMT (Canine Massage Therapist) certification. She will also be completing her studies for the certificate program for HOLISTIC ANIMAL CARE FOR COMPANION ANIMALS in the next few weeks from the Clayton College of Natural Health!
We will be offering animal massage, herbal remedies, aromatherapy, natural diet and so much more!!!

She is also a Paralegal with a concentration in animal law as well as the author of a pet advice column in the Regional Review entitled The Pet Stop!

 

At the hospital, Donna supervised a staff of 24 employees and was the Continuing Ed Coordinator. During her last two years, she became the Marketing Manager for the hospital. She developed an online presence and a monthly client newsletter. In this capacity, her favorite role was communicating with the clients. She became the "Dear Abby" of animal advice for the hospital's clientele. The hospital entrusted her with the discretion of handling these situations and questions, so we're hoping you will have the same confidence.

 

 We at Heads and Tails, are in no way trying to take the place of a doctor. It is important to know when a situation can be handled with a home remedy and/or when a doctors appointment is needed. We are trained in Animal Emergency Care and CPR and can assess an animals condition and administer life saving techniques if your pet should need care prior to transport to a hospital.

 

Heads and Tails is comprised of individuals who have an absolute love for and respect of animals. We are professional adults with a strong animal related background. Our team members are given thorough background checks and training, so you can be assured that you are dealing with trustworty, trained professionals. We do not hire kids and our staff is the best you will see!
